Award-winning Singer/Songwriter Ry Bradley Advocates for Empowering Youth Through Mentorship
Los Angeles, CA, June 1, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Award-winning singer/songwriter Ry Bradley’s new single “These Open Arms” is a catchy, upbeat, heartfelt tribute to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been changing children’s lives by matching them one-on-one with caring adults to guide them on a path to success. When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on setting goals for their future. Today's youth face a variety of challenges, and being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their potential.
Ry Bradley’s song includes the sentiments that many mentors in the program have expressed — that they benefit from the experience as much as the child they are matched with does.
Ry, who advocates for empowering youth, has performed benefit concerts for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. That’s where he met Big Sister Lissa Coffey, and the two collaborated on writing the song, along with producer Justin Busch. The team has also produced a music video of the song, available on both YouTube and on Ry’s website.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is holding its National Conference at the Sheraton Marina Hotel in San Diego, California June 25-28, 2017. Ry Bradley and his band will be performing “These Open Arms” at the National BBBSA Awards Gala held Wednesday, June 28.
For the month of June, Ry Bradley is donating all proceeds from Patreon subscriptions, which includes a download of “These Open Arms,” to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. Ry’s Patreon Channel: www.Patreon.com/RyBradley
Ry Bradley is available for media interviews and on-air performances.
